Devotional Book to Saint Michael the Archangel

The Archangel Gabriel, for example, was chosen to announce to the Virgin Mary the greatest news of all: the incarnation of the Son of God. His name, which means "Strength of God," expresses precisely the power required for the greatness of this mission. Thus, each archangel is named according to the nature of his or her role.
