The Power of the Rosary Book

The Rosary is a sacramental. Every sacramental is instituted by the Church and is a sacred and visible sign intended for the sanctification of the faithful. Unlike the sacraments, which confer grace, sacramentals do not confer grace, but prepare for its reception.

Among the countless sacramentals that exist in the Church, the Rosary is among the three instituted by the Virgin Mary herself — alongside the Scapular of Carmel and the Miraculous Medal.

The Rosary assures us of all kinds of graces: it delivers us from the devil, frees us from sin and vices, achieves conversion and sanctification, brings peace and health, and is a help at the hour of death.
