Manual of the Extraordinary Minister of Eucharistic Communion and the Word

The history of this Manual begins in 1979, in the Diocese of Umuarama- PR. In 1986, the Manual was revised, expanded and reissued by the Pastoral Coordination of that Diocese.

The initial proposal now takes on a more comprehensive geographical character, with the publication of the Manual of the Extraordinary Minister of Eucharistic Communion and the Word for the whole of Brazil.

Among other topics, it deals with the selection and preparation of Ministers of the Eucharist and the Word, the material to be used in celebrations, Communion for the sick, funerals celebrated at home and in church, and emergency baptisms.
