In the apparition of Mary at La Salette, her Eucharistic identity is noted, when, in the message addressed to the two visionaries, Maximin and Melanie, on September 19, 1846, when speaking of the seventh day and the Mass, she speaks of the Eucharist.
She says: “I gave you six days to work. I reserved the seventh for myself, and they do not want to give it to me.” Our Lady of La Salette takes on the words of her Son and asks that the Sunday Eucharist be valued and seen as a day of rest and family.
To be a Eucharistic Mother is to seek to be immaculate on the path of holiness, and this path is open to all who desire a holier and more just life; therefore, we need Eucharistic women, Eucharistic men and Eucharistic children to have Eucharistic families.
