St. Michael the Archangel's Lent - 2026

The Lent of St. Michael the Archangel is a time of singular grace, in which the Church reminds us of the spiritual reality that surrounds all Christian life.

From the first pages of Sacred Scripture, we see that the path of Christ's disciple is not just a visible reality in the world, but in the depth of the heart, where faithfulness to God is decided.

Among all angels, St. Michael stands out as the prince of the heavenly host, he who rises against evil and proclaims: Who is like God? cf. Rev 12:7.

His mission is not limited to a distant battle, but daily touches the lives of the faithful, for he strives for each soul to remain in truth, purity, and fidelity to the Gospel.

To invoke him during this Lent is to recognize that we are not self-sufficient and that we need the strength that comes from God to resist the allurements of sin.
